【摘要】:ThissectionofBS7870specifiesrequirementsfortheconstrucion,dimensionsandmechanicalandelectricalpropertiesorconcentriccopperwirecombinedneutral/earth(CEN)servicecableshavingaratedvoltageof0.6/1(1.2)kV.Itisapplicabletocablesthat,whenassessedbythespecifiedtests,producelowerlevelsofsmokeandcorrosivegasesunderexposuretofirethancablesconformingtoBS7870-3.11.Itspecifiesrequirementsforthefollowingtypesofcable:a)singlephaseor3-phase;b)strandedcopperorsolidaluminiumconductors;c)XLPEinsulationandthermoplasticoversheathwithlowemissionofsmokeandcorrosivegaseswhenaffectedbyfire.ThissectionofBS7870isapplicabletocablesthataredesignedforamaximumcontinuousconductoroperatingtemperatureof90℃andforamaximumshortcircuitconductortemperatureof250℃.
