【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversathermoplasticinsulationofpoly(vinylchloride)orthecopolymerofvinylchlorideandvinylacetate.1.2Thisinsulationisrecommendedforuseatconductortemperaturesnotinexcessof60Cinwetordrylocationsatamaximumvoltageratingof600Vforpowerandcontrolcircuits.1.3Whenevertwosetsofvaluesarepresented,indifferentunits,thevaluesinthefirstsetarestandard,whilethoseinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Inmanyinstancestheinsulationmaterialcannotbetestedunlessithasbeenformedaroundaconductororcable.Therefore,testsaredoneoninsulatedwireorcableinthisspecificationsolelytodeterminetherelevantpropertyoftheinsulationmaterialandnottotesttheconductororcompletedcable.
