【摘要】:ThispartofISO13357specifiesaprocedurefortheevaluationofthefilterabilityofdrylubricatingoils,particularlythosedesignedforhydraulicapplications.Theprocedureonlyappliestomineral-basedoils,sincefluidsmanufacturedfromothermaterials(e.g.fire-resistantfluids)mightnotbecompatiblewiththespecifiedtestmembranes.TherangeofapplicationhasbeenevaluatedwithoilsofviscosityuptoISOviscositygrade(VG)100,asdefinedinISO3448.Withintherangedescribed,thefilterabilityasdefinedisnotdependentontheviscosityoftheoil.Theprocedureisnotsuitableforsomehydraulicoilsonwhichspecificpropertieshavebeenconferredbytheuseofinsoluble/partiallysolubleadditives,orbyparticularlylargemolecularspecies.NOTEFilterabilityisaprimerequirementforlubricatingoilsusedinhydraulicsystemsbecauseofthefinefiltersusedinthisapplication.ThispartofISO13357definesamethodforassessingthefilterabilityofdryoils.Itisnecessarytonotethatsomeoilsexhibitpoorerfilterabilitycharacteristicsinthepresenceofcontaminatingwater.ISO13357-1appliestotheinvestigationoftheeffectofwaterandhightemperatureonfilterability,ifanoilisusedinapplicationswherethepresenceofwaterintheoilislikely.
