【摘要】:Thistestmethodestablishesastandardprocedureofcomparativetesting,fordrivenwheelrimslip,betweencandidatetiregroup(s)andacontroltiregroup.Thistestmethodissuitableforresearchanddevelopmentpurposeswheretireandrimspecimensarecomparedduringabrieftestingtimeperiod.Theymaynotbesuitableforregulatoryorspecificationacceptancepurposesbecausethevaluesobtainedmaynotnecessarilyagreeorcorrelate,eitherinrankorderorabsolutevalue,withthoseobtainedunderotherconditions(forexample,differentlocationsordifferentseasonaltimeperiodsonthesametestcourse).1.1Thistestmethodisperformedtodeterminetheamountofrotationalslipoccurringatthetire/wheelinterfacewhileunderheavylongitudinalloadconditions.1.2Thistestmethodissuitableforresearchanddevelopmentpurposeswheretiresarecomparedduringasingleseriesoftests.Theymaynotbesuitableforregulatorystatutesorspecificationacceptancebecausethevaluesobtainedmaynotnecessarilyagreeorcorrelateeitherinrankorderorabsoluteperformancelevelwiththoseobtainedunderotherenvironmentalconditionsonothersurfacesorthesamesurfaceafteradditionaluse.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
