【摘要】:ThisStandardestablishessafetyrequirementsforpoweredplatform(scaffolds)forbuildingswherewindowcleaningandrelatedservicesareaccomplishedbymeansofsuspendedequipmentatheightsinexcessof35ft(11m)aboveasafesurface(e.g.,grade,street,floor,orrooflevel).Additionally,thisStandardestablishessafetyrequirementsforpermanenttravelingladdersandgantries(TLG).ItpertainstoeitherpermanentlyinstalledortransportableequipmentmeetingtherequirementsofthisStandard.PoweredplatformsandTLGsmaybeusedoroperatedbyoneormorepersonsengagedinservicessuchasnormalbuildingmaintenance.Theequipmentmayalsobeusedfortaskssuchascaulking,metalpolishing,reglazing,orotherbuildingrepairs.ThisStandarddoesnotapplytoothersuspendedpoweredplatformsusedforremedialrenovationsormodificationstobuildings.ThesafeuseofthesescaffoldsisincludedinANSIA10.8-2001,SafetyRequirementsforScaffolding.ThisStandarddoesnotrelatetoanyserviceperformedbypersonssupportedbyequipmentcoveredbyanyoftheANSIA92standards.
