【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstheestimationofthemeanmolecularweight(relativemolecularmass)ofpetroleumoilsfromkinematicviscositymeasurementsat100and210?F(37.78and98.89?C).Itisapplicabletosampleswithmolecularweightsintherangefrom250to700andisintendedforusewithaveragepetroleumfractions.Itshouldnotbeappliedindiscriminatelytooilsthatrepresentextremesofcompositionorpossessanexceptionallynarrowmolecularweight(relativemolecularmass)range.Valuesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
