【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthelaboratorydetermination,usingaglasshydrometer,ofthedensityat15℃ofcrudepetroleum,liquidpetroleumproducts,andmixturesofpetroleumandnon-petroleumproductsnormallyhandledasliquidsandhavingaReidvapourpressure(RVP)of100kPaorless.ThisInternationalStandardissuitablefordeterminingthedensityofmobiletransparentliquids.Itcanalsobeusedforviscousliquidsbycarryingoutthedeterminationsattemperaturesaboveambientusingasuitableliquidbathfortemperaturecontrol.Itcanalsobeusedforopaqueliquidsbyreadingthehydrometerscalewherethetopofthemeniscusmeetsthestemofthehydrometerandapplyingacorrectionfromtable1(see11.2).Sincehydrometersarecalibratedtoreadcorrectlyatthespecifiedtemperature,scalereadingsmadeatothertemperaturesareonlyhydrometerreadingsandnotvaluesofdensityattheseothertemperatures.NOTES1Theaccuracyofthedensity,determinedbytheproceduresgiveninthisInternationalStandard,forvolatileand/orwaxycrudeoilscontainingfreeand/orsuspendedwaterandsedimentscanbelessthaninferredfromtheprecisiondataquotedinclause13.Thisisduetothepossiblelossoflightcomponentsduringsamplemixing.However,samplemixingisnecessarytoensurethatthetestportiontransferredtothehydrometercylinderisasrepresentativeaspossibleofthebulksample.Techniquesaregiveninclause7whicharedesignedtominimizesuchlossoflightcomponent.2Valuesofdensityat15℃canbeconvertedusingstandardmeasurementtablestoequivalentvaluesofAPIgravityorrelativedensitysothatmeasurementsmaybemadeintheunitsoflocalconvenience.
